Press Release Summary = BatchPhoto is a powerful Windows photo manipulation program that makes it easy to touch up, annotate, transform, apply effects, and rename hundreds of pictures in a single operation.
Press Release Body = Craiova, Romania, October 25, 2006 -- DiVision Software has released BatchPhoto v. 1.5, a powerful Windows photo manipulation program that makes it easy to touch up, annotate, transform, apply effects, and rename hundreds of pictures in a single operation. Instead of enhancing and adjusting photos individually, BatchPhoto lets the user select a group of images, define a series of edits, and apply them in a single operation.
BatchPhoto can apply more than three dozen filters to pictures. The filters are divided into four main categories: touch up, annotate, transform and effects. The program supports more than 100 image file formats, including JPG, PNG, TIFF, BMP, and GIF.
Throughout the photo manipulation process, the user is in complete control. Whether touching up a group of images, or applying a series of complex, artistic filters, an accurate preview of the original and the enhanced pictures is displayed.
BatchPhoto makes it simple to touch up groups of pictures by changing the brightness, sharpness, colors, and reducing the noise in photos. It can also equalize, normalize, enhance, and perform other corrective functions.
The program can date/time stamp photos, in a variety of formats. It preserves the EXIF information that digital cameras add to every photo, and will use the EXIF date/time information in the visible date/time stamps. BatchPhoto can add text to pictures in any size and color, place it anywhere on photos, and even adjust the transparency. The program makes it simple to add watermarks on pictures, either as text or image.
BatchPhoto can easily resize collections of pictures. It knows whether photos are in portrait or landscape orientation, and applies changes intelligently. In addition to resizing photos, it can apply other transformation to collections of pictures, including crop, rotate, roll, and flip.
BatchPhoto supports a full range of artistic effects, from embossing, blurring, watermarking, and swirling images to creating oil painting, charcoal and many other effects.
Scanners and digital cameras assign meaningless names to images. BatchPhoto can rename all of these files meaningfully. It can incorporate any text into file names. In addition, the program can sequentially number them, add date/time information, and more.
New features in v. 1.5 include the ability to load/save projects and profiles, a new filter for watermarking images, and a revamped preview feature.
Whether you\'re a business person who needs to manipulate groups of product photos, a home computer user who wants to organize and rename your family and travel pictures, or a student who wants to collect and resize images from the Internet, BatchPhoto has the tools that you need.
BatchPhoto v. 1.5 runs under Windows 98/Me/NT4/2000/XP/2003, costs $29.95(US), and may be purchased securely online at http://www.batchphoto.com/. Quantity discounts and site licenses are available.
